Opened in 1927, Pahoia is set on the outskirts of Tauranga City. The school has a genuine flavour of rural community, blended with effective modern learning styles and environments. As a learning community we strive to engage children in active and meaningful learning experiences that develop the skills and qualities children need to reach their full potential in our modern world.
With around 200 children Pahoia is a caring and friendly school community where we provide a safe environment and treat all children with dignity and respect.
Our teachers are proud to be part of a passionate team that fosters a positive learning environment. Our Board, staff and wider school family are committed to the delivery of excellence and achievement in the education of children in our care.
We aim to respond to the needs of the individual, hold high expectations and align everything we do with the values and beliefs that underpin our community.
We value our community of learners: teachers, support staff, children and whānau, and welcome their input.
