Preparing learners for now and the future

Bullswool Farm Park - School Trip

When: Wednesday, 8 November 2017
Cost: $8 per child, $8 per parent

Full Details:

This term our school wide inquiry is ‘My Contribution’. We decided that we want to contribute to a local community and support a business by contributing to feeding their animals and learning about their farm.

To help ignite this inquiry theme we have planned for the students to visit the Bullswool Farm Park. Check out their website to get a feel for what we will be doing and what we will be seeing.

When we arrive we will have morning tea. We will then go and feed a wide range of animals and then the children will be able to play on/with a range of awesome objects. We will then have lunch, go on a small bush walk learning about native trees, birds and the mining history and then head back to school. This trip will be about 3 and a half hours all up. This will be in Week 4 on Wednesday the 8th of November.

Your child will need:

  • Their own morning tea/lunch/drink bottle
  • Covered in foot wear
  • Warm clothes & rain jacket
  • $8 per child, $8 per parent

We will be leaving Pahoia School at 9:05am by bus and returning back to school around 2:30pm. The address is 240 Rahu Road, Karangahake Gorge, Check this link for more information.

We would like to thank Ron and Roz Smith for their generiosity in making the bus possible for this experience.
