On behalf of the Board, a warm welcome to Pahoia School’s website, where we can all now view facts and information about the school, and keep abreast of current activities – all at the push of a button.  

Pahoia School was established in 1927, and over the last 80 years has provided a wonderful education for the children of our community. And although the area is being populated rapidly, Pahoia is still regarded as a country school, and as such promotes many of the essential core values that are so inherent in New Zealand rural communities. This is enhanced by a dedicated staff who genuinely go the extra mile to ensure the children are receiving a wonderful all round education that will prepare them for the future.

The Pahoia School Board of Trustees, together with the staff, is aiming to make Pahoia the “Best of the Best” over the next three years. We have a unique opportunity for parents, staff and Friends of the School to join together and create something special – an experience the children attending Pahoia will remember for the rest of their lives. We only get one shot at bringing our kids up, so let’s make the most of it!
